Free Vintage Ephemera; Violets Postcards




This lovely piece features a handwritten message and is dated 1903. it is interesting that the sender printed on the front of the card, most vintage violets postcards have writing on the back, if they have writing at all.Violets and other purple flowers were incredibly popular in the late 1800s to early 1900s, adorning everything from compacts to salt shakers. Violets were often used in post cards as well, like the one I am sharing today.

The original vintage violets postcard has is a lovely but very aged piece. I cleaned it up and brightened up the color a bit. The file includes both the original and modified vintage violets ephemera.
