Free vintage style circus box with performers

I'm immersed in vintage circus junk journal projects right now (I'll have a new kit for you this week!) To celebrate, I've created a cute mini circus set, complete with storage box.

You can create the box and set as is, just print and assemble for an instant circus display. If you want to put your own personal touch on this one, decorate the individual pieces before assembly. Glitter, fibers and other embellishments would be right at home here, and there is room in the box to store lots of little goodies.

I've included a scan of a vintage circus poster, sized to be a just-right background for this fun vintage circus paper craft set.

Make the Vintage Circus Junk Journal Box

This is a fast and easy piece to make -- and everything you need is included, with the exception of a small piece of cardboard (for the box base and lid support) and whatever embellishments you want to add. See the step by steps below, or scroll to the end for the full sized, high resolution printable.

Once you have the linings done, you'll assemble the box. I suggest adding any embellishments you like while the box is flat -- it is just easier to add items that way. Make sure anything you add can either turn the corner at an edge or is designed to hang from the edge, just in case. Here's what to do next:

Yay! Now add any embellishments you like or some cute circus performers or toys to complete this project.

Need the circus performers too? Find it in my free resource library here.

If you think of it, let me know what you made? I'd love to see it!
